Josh Hill (* 21st May 1990 in Blackfoot , Idaho ) is an American American football poker players on the position of tight ends . He plays for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League (NFL).

college

Hill, who also played basketball and baseball at high school , first attended Boise State University , for which he did not play a game as a red shirt , but then switched to Idaho State University and successfully played for their team, the Bengals, as a tight end College football . In a total of 44 games he was able to catch passes for 1338 yards and score 9 touchdowns .

NFL

Hill was not taken into account in the 2013 NFL Draft , but was then hired as a free agent by the New Orleans Saints . In his rookie season he was already featured in 14 games, three times as a starter. Because of his skills as a blocker , he was also used in the special teams from the start, where he is regularly called up to this day.

After Jimmy Graham's move to the Seattle Seahawks , Hill received more and more playing time, but was only able to play 9 games in 2016 due to a broken collarbone.

On December 16, 2019, it was he who caught Drew Brees ' 540th touchdown pass in the game against the Indianapolis Colts, beating Peyton Manning's record for most career touchdowns.
