Joshua "Josh" van Wyk (born October 14, 1998 in Boksburg ) is a South African cyclist who competes in races on track and road .
Athletic career
In 2015 Joshua van Wyk became the African Junior Champion in the single pursuit . Two years later he started in the elite and together with Nolan Hoffman , Steven van Heerden and Jean Spies won the Africa title in the team pursuit , in the same discipline he became national champion. In 2018 he was able to repeat the success in the team pursuit at the African track championships with Gert Fouché , van Heerden and Spies. He also won bronze in the points race .
In 2019 van Wyk was three-time African champion , in the points race, in the Omnium and with van Heerden in the two-man team .
