Jean Spies (born November 27, 1989 in Randburg ) is a South African cyclist who is active on the road , track and mountain bike .
Athletic career
In 2011, Jean Spies became the South African team pursuit champion. At the 2015 African Championships in Waterburg , South Africa, he won a total of five medals, two silver and three bronze. The following year, at the African championships in Casablanca , Morocco , he was African champion in the points trial and in the 1000-meter time trial . In 2017 he was five times African champion , in 2018 he also won five titles.
Spies also competes in mountain bike races .
