Jozef Škoviera (born March 29, 1981 ) is a Slovak summer biathlete who is cross-country and roller- skiing .

Jozef Škoviera lives in Poprad . He took part for the first time in 2005 in the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Muonio , which were held exclusively in the cross-country discipline, and finished 23rd in the sprint, 20 in the pursuit and 18 in the mass start. It took three years before he was used again in a world championship in Haute-Maurienne . In the cross-country sprint he came in 13th and was 16th in the pursuit. On roller skis he reached the 39th place in the sprint, he did not contest the pursuit race despite qualifying. In 2009 he took part in the Summer Biathlon European Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . In the sprint he reached the ranks 15 in the sprint, 16 in the pursuit and with Vladimíra Točeková , Andrea Horčiková and Peter Ridzoň in seventh place with the mixed relay.
