Juan-José Aguirre Muñoz MCCJ (born June 5, 1954 in Córdoba ) is Bishop of Bangassou .

Life

Juan-José Aguirre Muñoz joined the order of the Comboni Missionaries and was ordained a priest on September 13, 1980 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Bangassou on December 13, 1997 .

He received his episcopal ordination on May 10th of the following year by the Bishop of Bangassou, Antoine Marie Maanicus CSSp ; Co- consecrators were Joachim N'Dayen , Archbishop of Bangui , and Guerrino Perin MCCI, Bishop of Mbaïki .

After the death of Antoine Marie Maanicus' CSSp, he succeeded him on December 21, 2000 in the office of Bishop of Bangassou.
