Joachim N'Dayen
Joachim N'Dayen (born December 22, 1934 in Loko ) is retired Archbishop of Bangui .
Life
Joachim N'Dayen was ordained a priest on July 22, 1961 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Bangui .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on September 5, 1968 Titular Archbishop of Culusi and Coadjutor Archbishop of Bangui. He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Cameroon , Gabon and the Central African Republic , Luigi Poggi , on January 5, 1969; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Bangui, Joseph Cucherousset CSSp , and Jean Zoa , Archbishop of Yaoundé .
After the death of Joseph Cucherousset he succeeded him on September 16, 1970 in the office of Archbishop of Bangui. On July 26, 2003 , Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation, which he had submitted for reasons of age .
