Paulin Pomodimo

Paulin Pomodimo (born June 30, 1954 in Ziendi , Central African Republic ) is a Central African clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bangui .

Life

Paulin Pomodimo was ordained a priest on July 13, 1980 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Bossangoa on June 10, 1995 . He was ordained bishop by the Archbishop of Bangui , Joachim N'Dayen , on October 29 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Diego Causero , Apostolic Nuncio in the Central African Republic, and Michel Marie Joseph Maître CSSp , Bishop of Bambari .

On July 26, 2003, he was appointed Archbishop of Bangui. He resigned from his office on May 26, 2009.
