The diocese of Bossangoa ( Latin Dioecesis Bossangoensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Bossangoa in the Central African Republic .
history
Pope John XXIII founded the Apostolic Prefecture Bangassou with the Apostolic Constitution Qui Christo iubente on February 9, 1959 from cession of territory of the Diocese of Berbérati and was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Bangui as a suffragan diocese.
With the Apostolic Constitution Gaudet sancta she was elevated to the diocese on January 16, 1964.
