Juan Martín Parodi , full name Juan Martín Parodi González , (born September 22, 1974 in Paysandú or Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.71 meter tall, "el ñato" called midfielder Parodi began his career in 1993 at Nacional Montevideo . In the same year he made his debut there in the Primera División . In 1996 he left the Bolsos , for which he ran up that year at least until the Clásico on August 18, and joined the Argentine club Deportivo Español . After relegation to the Nacional B , he left the Argentines in 1998 and moved to Mexico to Toros Neza . There are 30 games and three goals for him. In 1999 he returned to Argentina, where he was under contract with Club Atlético Huracán until 2000 . At Huracán, however, he received little time and returned to Mexico in the same year. There he was initially active for CD Zacatepec , was in 2001 in the ranks of Toros Neza and in 2002 came again for Zacatepec in 17 games (two goals). In Apertura and Clausura 2002 and 2003, respectively, he ran - meanwhile moved back to Argentina - in a total of 30 games for Colón de Santa Fe and scored three goals. In 2010 he ran in four league encounters for Pereira and scored one goal.
National team
Parodi was a member of the Uruguayan senior team , with which he took part in the 2004 Copa America . At the tournament he made his debut on July 7, 2004 in the Celeste, when he came on in the game against the Mexican national team in the 74th minute for Diego Forlán . In the game for 3rd place against Colombia on July 24, 2004, he played his second international match, which was also his first and only in the starting lineup. His last appearance for the national team dates from October 12, 2004, when he was substituted on again in the World Cup qualification in a clash with Bolivia - this time for Mario Regueiro .
