Juan de Dios Caballero Reyes
Juan de Dios Caballero Reyes (born June 23, 1931 in Canatlán ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Durango .
Life
Juan de Dios Caballero Reyes was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Durango on October 31, 1954 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Huejutla on July 11, 1978 . The Archbishop of Durango, Antonio López Aviña , gave him episcopal ordination on September 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Miguel García Franco , Bishop of Mazatlán , and Pedro Aranda Díaz-Muñoz , Bishop of Tulancingo .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Durango on November 18, 1993 . On July 21, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
