The Roman Catholic Diocese of Mazatlán ( lat. : Dioecesis Mazatlanensis , span. : Diócesis de Mazatlan ) is in Mexico located Roman Catholic diocese based in Mazatlan .

history

The diocese of Mazatlán was on November 22, 1958 by Pope John XXIII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Qui hominum from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Durango and the Diocese of Sinaloa and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Durango as a suffragan . On June 10, 1968, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mazatlán were parts of its territory establishing the with the Apostolic Constitution Non habentibus established territorial prelate El Salto off.
