Mario Espinosa Contreras

Mario Espinosa Contreras (born November 22, 1949 in Tepic ) is Bishop of Mazatlán .

Life

Mario Espinosa Contreras was ordained a priest on July 14, 1973 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tehuacán on April 2, 1996 . He was ordained episcopal by the Archbishop of Monterrey , Adolfo Antonio Cardinal Suárez Rivera , on May 11th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Norberto Rivera Carrera , Archbishop of Mexico , and Alfonso Humberto Robles Cota , Bishop of Tepic .

On March 3, 2005, he was appointed Bishop of Mazatlán .
