Alfonso Humberto Robles Cota

Alfonso Humberto Robles Cota (born October 30, 1931 in Los Mochis ; † January 5, 2017 ) was a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Tepic .

Life

Alfonso Humberto Robles Cota was ordained a priest on October 30, 1955 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tepic on January 12, 1981. The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico, Archbishop Girolamo Prigione , donated him episcopal ordination on March 1 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Luis Rojas Mena , Bishop of Culiacán , and Adolfo Antonio Suárez Rivera , Bishop of Tlalnepantla .

On February 21, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
