Luis Rojas Mena
Luis Rojas Mena (born June 21, 1917 in Jalpa de Cánovas , Mexico , † March 18, 2009 in Guadalajara , Mexico) was Bishop of Culiacan .
Life
Luis Rojas Mena was ordained a priest on March 31, 1945 .
On May 6, 1968 he was appointed by Pope Paul VI. appointed auxiliary bishop in Culiacán and titular bishop of Accia . The Archbishop of Guadalajara , José Cardinal Garibi y Rivera , donated him episcopal ordination on June 16 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Francisco Javier Nuño y Guerrero , Coadjutor Archbishop of Guadalajara, and Everardo López Alcocer , Bishop of Autlán . Pope Paul VI appointed Bishop of Culiacan on August 20, 1969.
On October 4, 1993, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
