Jew Gerald Paulraj

Arochiasamy Jew Gerald Paulraj (born April 28, 1943 in Pazhayakovil , Tamil Nadu , India ) is an Indian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Palayamkottai .

Life

Jew Gerald Paulraj received on 8 December 1968, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On October 23, 2000, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Palayamkottai. The Archbishop of Madurai , Marianus Arokiasamy , donated him episcopal ordination on December 8th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Tuticorin , Peter Fernando , and the Bishop Emeritus of Palayamkottai, Savarinathen Iruthayaraj .

On July 2, 2018, Pope Francis accepted the resignation from Jude Gerald Paulraj for reasons of age.
