Judge Jules (* 26. October 1966 ; real name Julius O'Riordan ) is a British trance - DJ and - producer . In the years 1997 to 2006 he was able to stay in the top 20 of the "Top 100 DJs" of DJ Mag , which he owed, among other things, to his own radio show, which quickly made him well known.

His trademark is his extravagant clothing style. At public appearances and in clubs he usually wears brightly colored clothes, especially neon-colored shirts.

Personal

Jules lives in Highgate, a borough in north London, and has been married to Amanda Shaw since March 1998. They have a son, Jake, who was born in June 1999. A passionate football fan, he supports Arsenal FC and was asked in 2005 to compose a remix of the official Premier League anthem .

Career

Judge Jules first attended Highgate Wood Secondary School , then University College School and finally the London School of Economics . There he studied law, from which his later name as a DJ is derived. His musical career began as a DJ with the radio station Kiss FM and took him to BBC Radio 1 in 1997 , where he hosted a weekly program. After 15 years, his broadcast was taken off the BBC Radio 1 program in March 2012. In the future, he will increasingly work as a lawyer.
