Juha Petter Hirvi (born March 25, 1960 in Kymi ) is a former Finnish marksman .

Juha Hirvi took part in the Olympic Games six times . In 1988 in Seoul he took 17th place with the air rifle and the small-bore rifle in the three-position fight, and in the prone position with the small-bore rifle he reached rank 24. Four years later in Barcelona he did not get past 27th place with the air rifle. With the small caliber, on the other hand, he moved into both finals, which he finished in sixth place in the prone position and in fourth place in the three-position fight. At the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta Hirvi part in any of the three disciplines among the top ten shooters, as well as 2,000 in Sydney with the air gun and in the prone position with the small caliber. In the three-position battle, he reached the final and scored a total of 1270.5 points. He won the silver medal behind Rajmond Debevec and ahead of Harald Stenvaag . He finished the 2004 games in Athens with the air rifle in 45th place, with the small caliber in prone position in ninth place and in the three-position fight in 15th place. Hirvi finished his last Olympic participation in Beijing in 2008 with the small caliber in twelfth place in the three-position battle and, after successfully qualifying for the final, in seventh place in the prone position.

Hirvi became vice world champion with the small bore in Suhl in 1986 in the kneeling position and in 1998 in Barcelona in the prone position .
