Jula Koch
Jula Koch (born Julius Heinrich Koch in Vienna on August 29, 1928 ; † September 22, 1990 in Vienna ) was an Austrian jazz musician ( drums ).
After the war, Koch played with Roland Kovac in Salzburg and Rudy Kregcyk in Vienna in various Allied soldiers' clubs and on the WOFA and European broadcasters Rot-Weiß-Rot . He later worked with Herbert Mytteis , Fatty George and Willy Fantel, from the 1950s at the Moulin Rouge and from 1964 at the Theater an der Wien . Later he belonged to Claudius Alzner & his soloists. As a studio musician, he can also be heard on albums by Arik Brauer , André Heller or Toni Stricker .
Jula Koch was Erni Bieler's husband .
His grave is in the Simmering fire hall in Vienna (Dept. 2, Ring 1, Gr. 4, No. 240).
