Julia Ertmer  (born September 23, 1983 in Bad Dürkheim ) is a  German  triathlete .

Career

Julia Ertmer teaches as a grammar school teacher for mathematics and sports at the Albert Schweitzer School in Offenbach am Main . In triathlon she mainly starts on the medium and long distance.

In June 2015 she became German champion on the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) in the age group.

With third place at the Ironman Hamburg in August 2017, she qualified for a starting place at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii in October, the 34-year-old won the 30-34 women's age group at Ironman Hawaii 2017 and thus became an amateur world champion.
