Life

Activities in Lower Saxony

Monaco first appeared in 2009 when he founded the JN's first base in Lower Saxony together with the NPD and former JN board member Florian Cordes . With the establishment of the JN Delmenhorst base, the city quickly became the center of right-wing extremist activities in Lower Saxony. In this context, the state parliament member Pia-Beate Zimmermann from the party Die Linke asked the Lower Saxony state parliament in 2010 whether the increasing number of right-wing extremist attacks was related to the JN state chairman and Delmenhorst Julian Monaco. The then Interior Minister Uwe Schünemann ruled that the activities, but not the violent attacks on the part of the right, were causally related to the appointment of Monaco as JN state chairman. During his time as state chairman, he organized several rallies and campaign weeks in Delmenhorst, which caused a sensation nationwide. There were also several police investigations and court cases against him and other members of the JN u. a. for breach of the peace and assault , which ended with acquittals. At his trial Monaco was defended by the Berlin right-wing extremist Wolfram Nahrath .

State election 2011 in Saxony-Anhalt

At the end of 2010, Monaco took over the NPD headquarters in Halberstadt, Saxony-Anhalt. There he led the NPD's costly election campaign for the 2011 state election . With 4.6%, the party just missed its third entry into the state parliament due to the five percent hurdle .

NPD federal party conference 2011

Together with the NPD youth organization, Monaco supported the former Saxon parliamentary group leader Holger Apfel with great commitment in his candidacy for party chairman. Together with the JN federal chairman Michael Schäfer , he called for a change in the youth organization from an “appendage of the mother party” to an “internal party cadre forge ”.

Activity in the Saxon state parliament

From August 2011 until the state elections in August 2014, Monaco was a trainee in the NPD parliamentary group in the Saxon state parliament .

As an expert against the left at the invitation of the AfD in the Bundestag

In July 2018, the AfD member of the Bundestag, Frank Pasemann, organized an event in the rooms of the German Bundestag with Philip Stein as a speaker through his parliamentary office . The topic of the event, entitled “Left support structures and the new 'fight against the law'”, was “the various, abuse-prone federal support programs” to curb right-wing radicalism and “parliamentary counter-strategies” to defend against those support programs. Philip Stein brought with him the two former leading cadres of JN Michael Schäfer and Julian Monaco, whom Frank Pasemann described as invited friends in his address. All MPs of the party and their employees were invited to the event on the topic.
