Philip Stein (activist)

Philip Stein (* 1991 in Fritzlar ) is a right-wing German publisher and activist in the context of the New Right and the Alternative for Germany . He is considered an “ultra-right fraternity member”, “ völkisch strategist” and “right networker”. He is the press spokesman for the German fraternity and head of the right-wing project One Percent for our country .

Life

Stein initially studied history , philosophy and German studies in Marburg , but dropped out without a degree. During his studies he became a member of the Marburg fraternity Germania . He lives in Schkeuditz and sells in his publishing house Jungeuropa u. a. Translations by new right , right-wing extremist and fascist French authors such as Alain de Benoist , Pierre Drieu la Rochelle , Dominique Venner and Robert Brasillach . For young European issue of the novel Sea Changes by British author Derek Turner wrote the American White Supremacy - activist Richard B. Spencer a preface. With Felix Menzel ( Blue Narcissus , Identitarian Movement ) he published the book Young Europe: Scenarios of Upheaval .

In his texts Stein writes, for example, that you are German "not because of your passport, but because of your blood." He also expresses his pride in having "made the unspeakable again speakable".

In April 2016, Stein appeared as a speaker at the Guthmannshausen memorial in Thuringia, which was co-founded by the Holocaust denier Ursula Haverbeck , at the cross-spectrum readers and authors' meeting of the right-wing extremist environmental magazine, Umwelt & Aktiv . The NPD reported in the 11th edition of 2016, its "DS TV" on Youtube, about the readers and authors meeting. On April 29, 2017, Stein and Max Kolb, member of the board of the AfD youth organization “ Junge Alternative ” in Hessen, were involved in a masked, physical attack with pepper spray and batons on a photographer in front of the fraternity house of the Germania fraternity in Marburg.

In July 2018, the AfD member of the Bundestag Frank Pasemann organized an event in the rooms of the German Bundestag with Stein as a speaker through his parliamentary office . The topic of the event, entitled “Left support structures and the new 'fight against the law'”, was “the various, abuse-prone federal support programs” to curb right-wing radicalism and “parliamentary counter-strategies” to defend against those support programs. Stein brought along the former NPD functionaries and right-wing extremist activists Michael Schäfer and Julian Monaco , whom Frank Pasemann described as invited friends in his address. All MPs of the party and their employees were invited to the event on the topic.

In August 2018, Stein appeared at an event of the Identitarian Movement entitled “Europa Nostra - Defend Identity - Preserve Home” in front of 300–400 participants in Dresden. The protection of the constitution was expecting various European groups of the Identitarian Movement (Austria, France, Italy and Great Britain); in addition to Stein, Martin Sellner also spoke .

According to information from ZEIT , Stein took part in a march of the neo-fascist party CasaPound in Rome in January 2019 . During the march, according to ZEIT, "the Roman salute was shown in rows - forbidden in Italy as the identification mark of the Mussolini fascists, known in Germany as the Hitler salute ."
