Juliane Ziegler (born September 29, 1981 in Berlin ) is a German television presenter . She was u. a. for the knowledge magazine Galileo at ProSieben as well as the magazines Adventure Auto and Adventure Life - daily knowledge at Kabel eins .

Life

Juliane Ziegler grew up in Berlin. After graduating from secondary school, she trained as a chimney sweep . After passing the journeyman's examination, however, she decided to work for television.

The beginnings

Ziegler became known in 2003 through the first season of the show Der Bachelor, which was then produced by Brainpool for RTL : After a friend had registered her for a casting, she was selected from thousands of applicants to compete against 24 other candidates on the Côte d'Azur . For the finale, she went as the elect of Bachelors Marcel Made Ritsch and thus out victorious - even if was in real life from the two no pair. Ziegler made his first experience of moderation in 2004 at RTL as assistant to Oliver Welke on the show The Biggest World Records - Guinness World Records . In the same year she won RTL Promi-Kasten III and competed in the TV total show jumping championship .

2004 to 2008

When RTL started its digital channel dream partner TV in 2004 , Ziegler became its main presenter and broadcaster face. She moderated numerous interactive live shows there until 2007. In 2006/2007, she presented the Call4Cash format on the MTV Networks channel VIVA Plus . In spring 2007 the ProSiebenSat.1 Group engaged Ziegler for its quiz channel 9Live and its live call-in shows on ProSieben ( Night-Loft ), Sat.1 ( Quiz Night ) and Kabel eins ( film quiz ). After a faux pas by the presenter in January 2008 on the show Night-Loft , in which she apparently jokingly used the phrase “ work makes you free ” to a call-in caller , she was dismissed and followed a temporary break from the screen. Parallel she was in digital special interest channels TIER.TV to see. There she moderated the live show Doc & Co. - the animal consultation hour and the magazine Im Galopp - all about horses .

Since 2008

Ziegler has been a presenter and reporter for center.tv Heimatfernsehen Ruhr since November 2008 . So far she has led u. a. through the report format center.tv mobil on site , the cooking show Im Henkelmannserved or the news program Heimat Kompakt . She has been working as an on-air reporter for the ProSieben knowledge magazine Galileo since May 2009. a. for experiments in the Galileo eXtrem section . Since the beginning of 2010, she has also been a reporter in the kabel eins magazines Adventure Auto and Adventure Life - Knowledge .

Others

In addition to TV moderation, Ziegler made advertising for various charity, print and on-air campaigns.

She has lived in Cologne since 2004.
