The subsidiary station of RTL interactive GmbH (formerly RTL NEWMEDIA GmbH) started broadcasting on Astra digital on December 1, 2004 and broadcast a live dating service every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Broadcasting was discontinued on October 31, 2007.

Interactive

The interactivity was primarily based on the possibility of paying for a chat on the screen as part of the live program and on one's own teletext pages via SMS or MMS. In addition, there was the possibility of communicating with other participants via a connected online dating platform on the Internet .

reception

Satellite reception was possible with the following setting:

  • Satellite: Astra 19.2 degrees East
  • Frequency: 12.188 GHz
  • SR 27.500
  • FEC 3/4

Dream partner TV was also fed into many cable networks and streamed on the station's website .

attitude

On October 1, 2007, the station's management confirmed the discontinuation of the program as of October 31, 2007. The reason for this was the goals that the station said it had set but not achieved. One of the deciding factors was that the rapid development of Internet dating was underestimated and that the online area and the TV station were only rudimentarily linked.
