Julio César Corniel Amaro (born September 28, 1958 in Bodita , Dominican Republic ) is Bishop of Puerto Plata .
Life
Julio César Corniel Amaro received on 21 June 1986, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 31, 2005 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the bishop of Puerto Plata. The Archbishop of Santo Domingo , Nicolás de Jesús Cardinal López Rodríguez , donated him episcopal ordination on July 16 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Santiago de los Caballeros , Ramón Benito de La Rosa y Carpio , and the Bishop of San Francisco de Macorís , Jesús María de Jesús Moya .
