Diómedes Espinal de León (born August 25, 1949 in Villa Trina ) is Bishop of Mao-Monte Cristi .

Life

Diómedes Espinal de León was ordained a priest on July 22, 1978 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Vardimissa and auxiliary bishop in Santiago de los Caballeros on April 20, 2000 . The Archbishop of Santiago de los Caballeros, Juan Antonio Flores Santana , donated him episcopal ordination on June 2nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were François Robert Bacqué , Apostolic Nuncio in the Dominican Republic , and Francisco Ozoria Acosta , Bishop of San Pedro de Macorís .

He was appointed Bishop of Mao-Monte Cristi on May 24, 2006, and was introduced to the office on July 22 of the same year.
