Julius Liebrecht

Julius Liebrecht (born December 30, 1891 in Oberlahnstein ; † September 13, 1974 in Ingelheim am Rhein ) was a German entrepreneur .

Life

After graduating from high school, Liebrecht entered the German Army in an officer career and retired from their service after the end of the First World War with the rank of Rittmeister . He married Albert Boehringer's daughter Ilse and in 1920 took a managerial position at CH Boehringer Sohn . During the Second World War Liebrecht was a member of the air force of the Wehrmacht and left it after the war with the rank of lieutenant colonel . During the occupation of the Ruhr in 1923, he was head of the Ingelheim plant of CH Boehringer Sohn and from 1965 chairman of the company's management.
