Line substations in Bavaria

The Jura line is a planned replacement of power lines between the Raitersaich substation and the Altheim substation . The project replaces the existing 220-kV lines of the Reichsammelschiene and the 220-kV line Ludersheim – Aschaffenburg – Borken in these sections . The network operator is Tennet .

history

The 220 kV line Ludersheim – Aschaffenburg – Borken was originally a three-phase high- voltage overhead line between the Ludersheim substation near Nuremberg , the Aschaffenburg substation and the substation at the Hessian Borken power station south of Kassel . It was created in the course of the division of Germany after the Second World War , when sections of the Reichsammelschiene were interrupted by the Soviet occupying forces, which necessitated a new connection to Bavaria to maintain the transmission network .

The Reichssammelschiene was a three-phase high-voltage overhead line for 220 kV voltage built between 1939 and 1941 by Elektrowerke AG , which led from Helmstedt via Magdeburg , Halle and Nuremberg to Ernsthofen in Lower Austria. Its original purpose was the exchange of electrical energy between the central German lignite region and the Bavarian and Austrian pumped storage power plants in the Alps. In the course of the division of Germany after the Second World War, individual sections that crossed the zone border were shut down and dismantled by the Soviet Union as reparations, while other sections are still part of the West ( PreussenElektra ) or East German (VEB Energieversorgung, VEB Verbundnetz) Transmission network were. Since the turn of 1989/90, many of these sections have been dismantled for reasons of age or replaced by 380 kV lines.

The replacement new building with 380 kV is being carried out as part of the Federal Requirements Plan Act No. 41.

course

Coming from the Raitersaich substation , the existing line in the Central Franconia administrative region runs eastwards and bypasses the city of Nuremberg to the south. It then runs south from Ludersheim via the Sittling substation to the Altheim substation .
