Justin Leon (born July 29, 1995 in Conway , Arkansas ) is an American basketball player .

Career

Leon attended high school in his hometown of Conway . There he already played basketball successfully and was honored with various awards (7A All-Conference, All-Region and All-State). He then moved to Shawnee Community College , a junior college in Illinois , where he went basket hunting for the Saints . In his sophomore year, he was elected to the junior college All-American squad. In his junior year he moved to the University of Florida . In his two years in Florida, he led his team in the three-point quota .

After he was not included in the 2017 NBA Draft , he signed a contract with Oklahoma City Blue , the farm team of the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA G-League . In 2018 he played three games for the Thunder in the NBA Summer League before playing again for the farm team. After a total of two years in the G-League, he moved to Europe for the first time in 2019. Leon signed a two-year contract with the Bundesliga relegated Science City Jena .
