Jutta Siefert

Jutta Siefert (born January 4, 1969 in Offenburg ) is a German lawyer.

Career

Siefert, who grew up in Lahr in the Black Forest, also passed her Abitur there. From 1988 to 1991 she studied at the Federal University of Applied Sciences, department of labor administration in Mannheim. There she passed the examination for a degree in administrative management (FH). She then completed a law degree at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg until 1996. The legal clerkship at the regional court in Freiburg ended in the spring of 1998 with successfully passing the second state examination in law. During this phase she also worked as a research assistant at the chair for administrative law in Freiburg, headed by Prof. Schoch . On July 1, 1998, she joined the higher judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg and was subsequently employed as a judge at the Social Court in Karlsruhe , where she soon also acted as press spokeswoman. From December 2001 to the end of May 2004 she was seconded to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Justice. There she was involved, among other things, with the structural reform of the probation service and issues relating to the Baden official notary. On June 1, 2004, she took up a position at the State Social Court of Baden-Württemberg - initially by way of a secondment . In January 2006 she was appointed judge there. On January 1, 2007, she also took over the role of presidential judge . On June 27, 2012, BSG President Peter Masuch handed over the certificate of appointment as judge at the Federal Social Court. Siefert has been pursuing this task in the Seventh and Eighth Senates since July 1, 2012.

As part of her journalistic work, she appeared as a co-author of a commentary on SGB ​​III and a specialist lawyer manual for the area of accident insurance law .

As a counterbalance to her professional activity, Siefert takes part in marathon and half marathon competitions. At the German Championships in 2018 , she won the silver medal in the marathon team classification with the PSV Grün-Weiß Kassel team and her own performance of 3:10:06 h.
