Jutta Driver
Juttareiber (born January 10, 1949 in Oberpullendorf in Burgenland as Jutta Supper ) is an Austrian author .
Life
Her parents Therese and Viktor Supper were merchants and ran a furniture store. Juttareiber has a disabled brother, Walter Supper, who is eight years her junior. After elementary school in Oberpullendorf, she attended grammar school in Eisenstadt from 1959 to 1967, where she graduated with distinction . She then studied German and English at the University of Vienna from 1967 to 1972 . From 1972 to 1988 she taught German and English at the grammar school in Oberpullendorf. In addition, she also gave courses in jazz dance and stage play.
Juttareiber has been a freelance writer since 1988. During her high school years she wrote for the school newspaper. In 1976 she won her first literary award for a short story . First literary attempts included short stories, poems and radio plays. Cabaret programs and short films (Super 8) followed. Her work includes picture books, children's books, novels for young people and adults, poetry, a children's theater piece, radio plays, short stories in various anthologies and short films. Her books have been translated into 23 languages so far. Juttareiber has given more than 3000 readings in twenty-three countries in Europe and Asia ( Germany , France , Great Britain , Iran , Italy , Latvia , Luxembourg , the Netherlands , Austria , Poland , Romania , Sweden , Switzerland , Slovakia , Slovenia , the Czech Republic , Turkey , Hungary ).
Jutta Driver is married and has two children.

- 2009 Prize for Literature and Journalism from the Burgenland Foundation Theodor Kery (for the entire literary works)
- 2019 Great Decoration of Honor of the Province of Burgenland
