Käthe Herrmann-Bernhofer

Käthe Herrmann-Bernhofer , also Käthe Bernhofer, (* 1918 ; † 1997 ) was an Austrian painter .

The academic painter lived and worked in Engelhartszell , was a member of the Innviertler Künstlergilde and belonged to the Schärdinger circle of artists together with Alfred Kubin , Max Hirschenauer , Margret Bilger , Ernst Degn , Alois Dorn , Herbert Fladerer , Johanna Dorn-Fladerer and Josef Diethör .

  • Three-part altarpiece of the Jagabild -Jäger memorial in Sauwald am Haugstein (1961) and reverse glass pictures of the Way of the Cross to the chapel, which was renewed in 1976 (1976)
  • Glazing of the staircase designed by Karl Albert Wirthensohn in 1958 in the listed former administrative building of the Danube Steam Shipping Company in Regensburg
  • Fresco with Maria, flanked by two angels (1951) on the Passauertor in Schärding (destroyed in 2010)
