Ernst Degn (born August 27, 1904 in Schärding , Upper Austria ; † March 26, 1990 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian painter of naturalism and lived in Innsbruck.

Life

Ernst Degn graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and was a member of the Innviertel artists' guild . Ernst Degn taught at the BORG Innsbruck until his retirement . Watercolor painting had a special place in Ernst Degn’s work and especially the many views of the town and landscapes from the Innviertel , from North and South Tyrol .

He is buried in the Innsbruck-Mühlau cemetery.
