Cologne Comedy School

The Cologne Comedy School in 1998, as part of the success of the International Cologne Comedy Festival to the, launched Comedy -Nachwuchs to give a development opportunity. The school was funded by RTL and WDR . The school was closed again on December 31, 2002 for financial reasons. The contents of the course were: role identification , speaking technique , gag timing , camera acting , improv techniques and media law .

The patron for the duration of the existence was Rudi Carrell .

The lecturers at the Cologne Comedy School included u. a. Rudi Carrell, Ingo Appelt and Thomas Hermanns .

Well-known graduates of the school are u. a. Ingo Oschmann , Mario Barth , trainer Schmidt , Rüdiger Hoffmann , Dagmar Schönleber , Keirut Wenzel , Sigi Gall , Martin Reinl and Ramona Schukraft .
