Köngetried is a district and a place in the municipality of Apfeltrach in the Swabian district of Unterallgäu . The place is on the western edge of the Westernachtal. As part of a regional reform, the previously independent municipality of Köngetried was incorporated into Apfeltrach on May 1, 1978.
