Coast Commander North Friesland was the name of a military service of the German Navy and its commander. The agency was established under the name of fortress commander Nordfriesland in the course of the development of the navy from 1935. In February 1941 she was combined with the Coast Commander East Friesland department to become the German Bight Coast Commander .
