In April 2018 KAFVKA released their second studio album entitled "2084", based on Orwell's book "1984".

style

From the point of view of music journalism, KAFVKA plays classic crossovers from the 1990s. The genre is not very clear for the band either; In April 2017 they asked on their Facebook page: “Politcrossoverrap? German rap rock? Political crossover German rap? Just a 90s crossover? What is the name of what we do? ”One thing is undisputed: Jonas Kakoschke raps in German to energetic alternative - and rock - to industrial music. In many of their lyrics the band positions itself clearly politically and is clearly against racism , xenophobia and homophobia as well as for integration and tolerance .

Surname

The band's name is a fusion of the name of the writer Franz Kafka and the former MTV -Moderators Markus Kavka .
