The steam locomotive "NORDSTERN" was a passenger locomotive of the Kaiser Ferdinands-Nordbahn (KFNB). It was the only machine delivered to the KFNB by the locomotive factory G. & J. Rennie in London in 1839 and corresponded to the typical English machines with axis formula  1A1 (see " AUSTRIA " and " VINDOBONA "). The cylinders were arranged under the smoke chamber and drove the cranked second axle.

The "NORDSTERN" was scrapped in 1865 .
