Kaan Akca (born February 21, 1994 in Cologne ) is a German - Turkish soccer player . The offensive midfielder is under contract with FC Pesch .
Career
Akca began his career at Cfb-Ford Niehl and then played for Bayer 04 Leverkusen before going to England for the youth team at Chelsea . In 2008 he moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf's C-youth team . For the second team he came on May 25, 2013 in a 1-1 draw against MSV Duisburg II for his first appearance in the Regionalliga West . For the 2013/14 season he moved up firmly in the squad of the second team. On September 28, 2013 Akca scored his first goal to take the 1-0 lead after 10 minutes in a 4-1 win against SC Wiedenbrück . In January 2015 he went to the training camp with the first team. After Akca was in the first team's squad for the first time on April 25, 2015 at the home game against TSV 1860 Munich , he signed his first professional contract on May 6, 2015, which ran until June 30, 2018. Two days later, he made his debut at the 0-2 defeat against VfR Aalen in the 2nd Bundesliga . This was his only use for Fortuna's first team. After the 2017/18 season , Akca's contract in Düsseldorf was not extended and he was without a club for several months. In November 2018 he joined the upper division FSV Duisburg until the end of the season . Then he was under contract with SG Köln-Worringen for almost six months . Akca has been playing at FC Pesch in the Middle Rhine League since January 2020 .
