The Blos I cabinet formed the state government of Württemberg from November 11, 1918 to March 7, 1919 .

After the news from Berlin arrived in Stuttgart on November 9, 1918 that Philipp Scheidemann had proclaimed the republic, representatives of the SPD and the USPD agreed in the late afternoon in the rooms of the Württemberg state parliament on the formation of a provisional government. Wilhelm Blos (Foreign Minister) and Arthur Crispien (Interior Minister) were chaired. Other SPD candidates were Hermann Mattutat as Minister of Justice, Theodor Heymann as Minister of Culture and Dr. Hugo Lindemann proposed as Minister of Labor. On the part of the USPD, the Spartakist and chairman of the Stuttgart Soldiers' Council Albert Schreiner became Minister of War and August Thalheimerelected Minister of Finance. In a proclamation he wrote to the people of Württemberg, Blos stated: "The republic is declared." On the morning of November 10, a Sunday, Wilhelm Blos and Wilhelm Keil agreed in a conversation that the cabinet list drawn up the previous evening should be changed must be. In view of public opinion, the necessary cooperation of the civil servants and the imminent demobilization of the army, representatives of the other democratic parties should also join the government.
