Kambanda cabinet
The Kambanda Cabinet was the government of Rwanda from April 8, 1994 to July 19, 1994 .
At a meeting of party officials from the MRND and the military, a transitional government was agreed. Contrary to the Arusha Agreement , the President of the State was Théodore Sindikubwabo , President of Parliament, in accordance with the 1991 constitution . After President Juvénal Habyarimana's plane was shot down on April 6, 1994, and Prime Minister Agathe Uwilingiyimana was murdered by members of the Rwandan army on April 7, 1994, the interim government was installed on April 8, 1994 by a crisis committee of the Rwandan army. The cabinet was composed entirely of Hutus .
