The Kahiltna River is an approx. 90 km long left tributary of the Yentna River in Alaska (USA).

The Kahiltna River has its origin on the glacier tongue of the Kahiltna Glacier on the southeast flank of the Alaska range . The river flows mainly in a south-southeast direction through the lowlands. The only noteworthy tributary is the Peters Creek from the left. After about 90 km the Kahiltna River flows into the Yentna River at a height of 24  m . Since the river is for the most part fed by meltwater from the glaciers, the highest runoffs occur in the summer months.
