The emperors tombs of the Tang Dynasty (Chinese: Tangdai lingmu , Tangdai dimu ) are the mausoleums of the emperors of the Tang Dynasty in China .

The largest group of these in Shaanxi Province is also known as the "Eighteen Tang Dynasty Mausoleums" ( Tang shiba ling唐 十八 陵; Eighteen Tang Dynasty Tombs / Eighteen Mausolea in the Tang Dynasty / The Eighteen Imperial Tang Tombs / etc.) or "Eighteen Guanzhong mausoleums" ( Guanzhong shiba ling关 中 十八 陵) combined.

They are located north of the Wei He Fluss River and on the banks of the Jing He泾 河River . They extend over an area of ​​150 km. Most of the graves are surrounded by a number of smaller graves where princes, princesses, high officials, etc. are buried.

Four of the eighteen tombs are artificially raised mounds protruding from the Guanzhong Plain (关 中 平原), including the Xianling献陵, the tomb of the first Tang emperor Gaozu唐高祖.

The tombs of the last two Tang emperors are in the provinces of Henan and Shandong .

The Imperial mausoleums of the Tang Dynasty in the six counties of Fuping , Pucheng蒲城 县, Sanyuan三原 县, Jingyang泾阳县, Liquan礼泉县 and Qian乾 县 of Shaanxi Province have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2001 (5th -184). The Zhao Mausoleum and the Qianling Mausoleum were added to the list already 1961st

With the exception of the (still unopened) Qianling mausoleum (乾陵), all of them were robbed.
