The house at Kaiserstraße 40 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the south side of Kaiserstraße, near the confluence with Pölkenstraße and is listed as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register.
Architecture and history
The two-storey half - timbered house was built around 1600 and is therefore one of the oldest preserved buildings on Kaiserstraße. On the half-timbered facade there are beam heads in the shape of cylinders. Strong ship fillet profiles have been incorporated into both the sleeper and the filler timber.
On the east side of the property's courtyard is a half-timbered wing from the 18th century.
