It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is listed in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Kaiserstraße 4 to the west. With house numbers 3 and 4, the building forms a group of houses with a uniform design.
Architecture and history
The two-story half - timbered house was built around 1680. The upper floor protrudes clearly.
In the 1980s, the state of construction had deteriorated considerably. The facade facing the courtyard and the courtyard buildings were largely destroyed. There was moisture damage inside the building.
In the course of a renovation in the 1990s, the appearance was changed. Among other things, the roof was given a dwelling .
