description
Vegetative characteristics
Kalanchoe cymbifolia is presumably a perennial , almost completely bare plant that reaches heights of growth of up to 100 centimeters. Its stem-round, straight, upright shoots are simple. The leaves are almost sessile. Your elliptical to ovate-elliptical leaf blade is 12 to 16 inches long. It is very concave and resembles a boat. Its point ends in a large, pointed, sharp point. The base is widened to a thick, stem-encompassing, very short petiole . The leaf margin is notched irregularly.
Generative characteristics
The inflorescence consists of loose, little-flowered panicles and reaches a length of 7 to 12 centimeters. The pendulous flowers are on stem -round, bent back, 10 to 12 millimeter long pedicels . The chalice is bell-shaped. The cylindrical-conical calyx tube is 10 to 12 millimeters long. The ovate-elliptical, pointed, tapering, somewhat spreading calyx lobes are 6 to 8 millimeters long. The cylindrical, long-haired corolla tube at its base is 20 to 25 millimeters long. Their ovoid-elliptical, pointed, somewhat recurved corolla lobes are 6 to 8 millimeters long. The stamens are attached near the base of the corolla tube and do not protrude from the flower. The anthers are egg-shaped. The somewhat rectangular, longer than wide, fringed and spread out nectar flakes are 1 to 2 millimeters long. The elongated carpel has a length of 5 to 7 millimeters. The stylus is 7 to 10 millimeters long.
