Vegetative characteristics

Kalanchoe densiflora is a perennial plant that reaches heights of 0.3 to 3 meters. Their sturdy, bare shoots are erect. The bright green, bare leaves are petiolate. The flattened and furrowed petiole is up to 3 centimeters long. Your elongated, egg-shaped or almost circular leaf blade is up to 18 inches long and 10 inches wide. Its tip is blunt, the base wedge-shaped. The leaf margin is notched.

Generative characteristics

The inflorescence consists of densely flowered, paniculate cymes and is 30 to 70 centimeters long. The upright flowers are on bare or rarely long-haired, 1 to 4 millimeter long pedicels , which are clearly thickened under the flowers. The calyx tube is 0.1 to 0.3 millimeters long. The triangular-awl, long narrowed, bald or rarely long-haired calyx lobes have a length of 2 to 8 millimeters and are 1 to 1.5 millimeters wide. The pale to greenish yellow corolla tube is 8 to 1 millimeters long. Their elongated lanceolate to broadly obovate, truncated or bluntly rounded corolla lobes have an attached tip and are 2 to 5 millimeters long and 1.5 to 4 millimeters wide. They are yellow to dark orange, reddish orange or red. The stamens do not protrude from the flower. The broad, elongated anthers are 0.7 to 0.9 millimeters long. The linear-awl nectar flakes are 1 to 3.5 millimeters long. The linear-lanceolate carpel has a length of 5 to 9 millimeters. The stylus is 1 to 3.5 millimeters long.
