Vegetative characteristics

Kalanchoe dyeri is a perennial , completely bare plant that reaches heights of 60 to 75 centimeters. The strong, stalk-round glauken shoots are upright. The fleshy leaves are petiolate. The half-stem-encompassing, flattened petiole is rutty on top and 3.8 to 7.5 millimeters long. The elliptical or egg-shaped leaf blade is 5 to 19 inches long and 3 to 11 inches wide. The top is green, the underside glauk. Its tip is blunt to pointed, the base rounded to wedge-shaped. The leaf margin is notched and serrated irregularly.

Generative characteristics

The dense inflorescence is an even cyme and reaches a length of 22 to 30 centimeters. The flowers are on 16 to 19 millimeter long peduncles . Your calyx tube is 1 to 2 millimeters long. The elongated, blunt to pointed calyx lobes are 6 to 12 millimeters long and 1 to 4 millimeters wide. They are separated from one another by rounded indentations. The slightly square, pale green corolla tube at its base is somewhat narrowed at the top and 43 to 50 millimeters long. Their pure white, spread out, lanceolate to elliptical, pointed corolla lobes have a length of 18 to 25 millimeters and are 9.5 to 15 millimeters wide. The stamens are attached above the center of the corolla tube and protrude from the flower. The anthers are 1 to 2 millimeters long. The linear, somewhat bifurcated, white nectar flakes are about 10 millimeters long. The carpel has a length of 16 to 22 millimeters. The stylus is 22 to 24 millimeters long.
