description

Vegetative characteristics

Kalanchoe lobata is presumably a perennial plant that reaches heights of growth of up to 65 centimeters. The upright, stalk-round, stiff shoots are densely glandular-hairy. The flat, fleshy leaves are petiolate. The narrow petiole is widened at the base. The pale green to yellowish, sparsely hairy leaf blade is irregularly incised-lobed to three-lobed. Leaves at the base are simple. The base of the blades is wedge-shaped.

Generative characteristics

The inflorescence are even panicles with a length of up to 6 centimeters. The upright flowers are 2.5 to 5.5 millimeter long flower stalks . Your pale green calyx is rounded at the base and dense and short glandular-hairy. The calyx tube is 2.5 to 3.5 millimeters long. The ovate-lanceolate, pointed calyx lobes are 3.5 to 4 millimeters long and 2.5 to 3.5 millimeters wide. The 15 to 16 millimeter long, cylindrical, orange or yellow corolla tube is enlarged at the base and strongly contracted above the carpels. Their corolla lobes have an attached tip. They have a length of 5 to 5.5 millimeters and are 2.5 to 3 millimeters wide. The stamens do not protrude from the flower. The anthers are about 0.7 millimeters long. The carpel has a length of about 7.5 millimeters. The stylus is about 0.5 millimeters long.
