Kalle Järvilehto (born July 21, 1995 ) is a Finnish snowboarder . He starts in the freestyle disciplines .

Career

Järvilehto competed internationally for the first time at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck . There he took 16th place in the halfpipe and 11th place in slopestyle . At the Junior World Championships in 2012 in Sierra Nevada , he won 33rd place in slopestyle and 31st place in the halfpipe. In the 2014/15 season he won the Big Air at the Snowboard Fest in Štrbské Pleso and in the Slopestyle at the Estonian Open in Kiviõli and took second place in the Big Air at the Frostgun Invitational in Val-d'Isère . In April 2015 he was in Ruka Finnish champion in slopestyle. The following year he came 19th in Big Air at the X-Games Oslo and 25th in Slopestyle and sixth in Big Air at the 2016 Snowboard World Championships in Yabuli . At the beginning of the 2016 / He started in Milan for the first time in the World Cup in 17 and finished 36th in Big Air. At the Snowboard World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada he achieved 18th place in Slopestyle and fifth in Big Air. In December 2017 he reached in Mönchengladbach with third place in Big Air his first podium in the World Cup. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he came 32nd in Slopestyle and 21st in Big Air. At the beginning of November 2018, he finished third in Big Air at the World Cup in Modena . This was followed by a second place in Big Air in Québec and third place in the Big Air World Cup at the end of the season. At the season highlight, the 2019 Snowboard World Championships in Park City , he finished 44th in slopestyle. In the 2019/20 season he came with three top ten finishes, including third place in Big Air in Cardrona , 13th place in the Freestyle World Cup and fourth place in the Big Air World Cup.
