Kaltbach is a locality and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Bruck an der Mur in the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district in Styria .
The scattered settlement is located above the south portal of the Tanzenberg tunnel and consists of several individual layers. The village is drained by Kaltbach .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 18 building areas with 12,762 m² and 19 gardens on 46,517 m² in the cadastral community of Kaltbach , in 1989/1990 there were 31 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 90 and in 2009/2010 there were 46 buildings on 90 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 54 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 247 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 42 hectares and 255 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 36 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 256 hectares. The average soil climate of Kaltbach is 15.9 (as of 2010).
